The last thing you want to worry about when you’re away from home is your precious pets. No one enjoys taking their animals to a boarding service. That’s where we come in. Prior to your departure, we take the time to get to know you, your animals, and everyone’s specific needs. We don’t take weekends or holidays off. It’s our pledge to adhere to the schedule of you and your animals, 365 days a year.
Who Are We?
Kristine has been an animal lover and rescuer her entire life. Central to her life have been ranch chores, animal husbandry, and an understanding of the attention and love family pets need. She believes that there is nothing more loving and loyal than the relationship you create with a pet.
Over the years, she’s gained valuable experience caring for pets with special needs. Whether it’s administering oral medication or, giving diabetic shots, she’s done just about it all.
Those years of experience with animals led her to her true calling – caring for them. She lives in Tumalo with her current clan who include her kitties, Tesse & Silver and her two Border Collie/Aussie mixes Cassie & Stella.
Certified and Dependable
Everyone at Hounds to Horses believes in working hard and continually improving their craft. They’ve worked to become Certified Pet Sitters through Pet Sitters International and carry insurance through Petsitter’s Associates LLC. They make it a habit to read industry journals, talk with other Pet Care Professionals, and share experience to further their knowledge and hone their skills.
